For our first post, we would like to showcase a wedding from April 2016.
In the South, we love our football! In this case, the bride is a Tennessee fan and the groom is a Kentucky fan. So, this bride chose the colors of Tennessee orange and Kentucky blue. She also loves pink peonies and requested those be incorporated, as well. An Elegant Encounter was up for the challenge!
The bride was gorgeous in her blush-colored lace gown and full length veil!
Flowers for this wedding included roses, ranunculus, peonies, orchids, tulips, hypernicum berries, sweet pea, and hydrangea. We used over 800 stems!
An Elegant Encounter provided full service wedding planning for this event. There were 10 guest tables and 1 head table, with a mixture of tall, medium, and small centerpieces. The contrast of the Kentucky blue tablecloths and Tennessee orange flowers was lovely.
This wedding was held at Historic Rose Mont, in Gallatin, TN. See upcoming post for our review of this fabulous local venue. The ceremony was held on a warm Spring day in front of the mansion, with the reception in their convenient on site hall.
